Built the business from inception. Manage operations across the GCC and support retailers with e-commerce and digital transformation. Distribution and retail-tech consulting through Al Hadas Trading — business setup, partnerships, digital transformation, analytics and supply-chain support.
Designed, implemented and supported RMS and IT/comms infrastructure across the Middle East — data centres, LAN/WAN, voice communication, POS systems, IP-based store monitoring. Planned and managed stock counts and supported retail security across the network.
Project management for POS, inventory control and footfall analysis — business study, requirements, custom dev coordination, rollout, ERP integration, training, post-implementation support. Verticals from fashion and jewellery to pharmacies, supermarkets, bookstores, electronics and alternate-medicine clinics.
Developed and managed IT for one of Qatar’s leading fashion retail groups. Liaised with business development on new brand acquisitions and store openings across four countries. Implemented warehousing, stock control and security systems. Trained retail staff and management.
Network and infrastructure projects for one of the world’s largest retail franchise operators: LAN/WAN design, Novell & Windows NT servers, X.25 and leased-line WANs, Internet proxies and mail. Online support for POS users in seven countries; warehousing, stock control and security across markets.
PC, AS/400 and network engineering at Kuwait’s Mercedes-Benz agent: X.25 / SDLC / Ethernet connectivity, IBM Client Access, internet proxies, mail and procurement consultancy on microprocessor-based equipment.
Workshop and customer support: assembly and upgrade of PCs, POS terminals and network hardware. Trouble-shooting across DOS / Windows / Novell / OS/2 / OS/400. Maintenance contracts for office and retail hardware. Showroom sales and counter customer support.
First role out of college — PC assembly, troubleshooting, maintenance & servicing of PCs, printers, fax machines. EPABX cabling, installation and programming.
From a Pilot Shop in Bombay to luxury fashion on the Corniche. Forty-odd brand programmes — POS rollouts, store openings, RMS and footfall analytics, supply-chain and security work across the Gulf.
