1 · How this audit was made

The video could not be read, and this report does not pretend otherwise. You asked for a comparison against the Acumatica inventory-management video. That video could not be opened from the build environment: YouTube refused every request, including with your own browser cookies attached, returning HTTP 403 and requiring a proof-of-origin token. Neither the audio nor the captions were retrievable, so nothing in this report is based on having watched it.

What this audit is based on is stronger than a transcript would have been. Three sources, all direct evidence rather than recollection:

SourceWhat it gave
The Storylane demo you sentIts underlying data was extracted directly: 213 captured frames covering Acumatica screens IN202500 (Stock Items), IN204500 (Item Warehouse Details) and IN201000 (Warehouses). This established which screens the walkthrough actually covers.
Your nine screenshotsThe complete Stock Items tab strip and the field layout of General, Price/Cost, Packaging, Inventory Planning, Related Items and GL Accounts — a more precise specification than narration would have provided.
Acumatica's published screen numberingThe IN2/IN3/IN4 convention for master records, transactions and inquiries, used here to structure the comparison.

A caveat that follows from the above: this compares against the inventory scope, because that is what the demonstration covers. If the video ranges wider than its title suggests, this audit will not know it.

2 · Where the build stands

25Built
6Partial
8Not built
36Screens live

Against the inventory scope alone, 15 areas are built, 6 are partial and 8 are not built. Every master-record screen the Storylane demonstration covers is present and editable. The gaps are concentrated in inventory transactions — the movements between warehouses that a walkthrough shows briefly and a working business does daily.

Status here means what it says. Built is on the live demo now and was tested in a browser. Partial means the data exists and is used, but the dedicated screen does not. Not built means absent — no screen, no data, no pretence.

3 · Inventory — master records

ScreenFunction StatusAssessment
IN202500 Stock Items — General tab Built Item class, type, is-a-kit, valuation method, planning method, tax category, posting class, lot/serial class, country of origin, UOM triple, conversion rules. All editable and saved.
IN202500 Stock Items — Price/Cost tab Built Price class, workgroup, manager, commission flag, min markup, markup, MSRP, default price; pending/current/last cost with effective dates; last, average, min and max cost held read-only because they are derived from movement.
IN202500 Stock Items — Warehouses tab Built Per-warehouse quantity, min, max, reorder point, safety stock, default issue bin, ABC code and movement class.
IN202500 Stock Items — Vendors tab Built Default vendor flag, vendor part number, purchase unit, minimum order quantity, last price, lead time.
IN202500 Stock Items — Attributes tab Built Product line, class-society approval, marine duty rating, serial traceability, warranty months, country of origin.
IN202500 Stock Items — Packaging tab Built Weight and volume with UOMs, undership and overship thresholds, HS commodity code, packaging option, pack-separately flag, box table.
IN202500 Stock Items — Cross-Reference tab Built Global (barcode/EAN) and vendor part numbers, surfaced in the purchase-order and invoice line pickers so a line is findable by the number on the counterparty’s paperwork.
IN202500 Stock Items — Related Items tab Built Substitutes with relation, rank, tag, quantity, effective and expiry dates, approval and required flags.
IN202500 Stock Items — Inventory Planning tab Built Source, min and max order quantity, lot size, lead time, service level, and replenishment parameters per warehouse.
IN202500 Stock Items — GL Accounts tab Built Inventory, sales, COGS, standard-cost variance, PO accrual, purchase-price variance, landed-cost variance, deferral and WIP accounts with their sub-accounts.
IN202500 Stock Items — Manufacturing tab Not built Not built. Manufacturing is a separate Acumatica edition; Tritek assembles panels but does not run production orders, work centres or a bill of materials. Building it would add a module nobody would open.
IN202600 Non-Stock Items Not built Not built. Services, freight and labour currently ride on invoice lines rather than a distinct item type. Small piece of work; deferred because nothing in the demo depended on it.
IN204500 Item Warehouse Details Built 187 records across items and warehouses, with General and Inventory Planning tabs: storage defaults and bins, ABC code and movement class with their Fixed flags, product-manager and inventory-account overrides.
IN201000 Warehouses Built Five sites reflecting the real footprint — Dubai Maritime City, JAFZA bonded, panel workshop, Mussafah, van stock — with bins.
IN202000 Item Classes Partial Classes exist and drive defaults, posting class and valuation method, but there is no separate maintenance screen to edit the class itself.
IN203000 Item Price Lists Partial Prices sit on the item and default onto documents. Effective-dated price lists by customer class, currency and quantity break are not built.

4 · Inventory — transactions

ScreenFunction StatusAssessment
IN301000 Receipts Partial Goods receipts exist against purchase orders. A standalone inventory receipt outside the purchasing cycle is not built.
IN302000 Issues Not built Not built. Non-sales removal — consumption, samples, staff use, damage — has no screen. Real gap for a service business that consumes its own spares.
IN303000 Adjustments Not built Not built. Stock write-up, write-down and write-off with reason codes. This is the second half of the physical-count loop and matters more than its size suggests.
IN304000 Transfers Not built Not built. Warehouse-to-warehouse movement with in-transit accounting. Tritek moves parts between the workshop, Mussafah and van stock constantly, so this is the most commercially significant gap in the list.
IN305000 Kit Assembly Not built Not built, and deliberately: kits are flagged on the item record but assembly needs a costing roll-up that only matters once panel builds are costed individually.
IN306000 Lot / Serial Tracking Partial Items carry a lot/serial class and serialised equipment is distinguished from bulk spares, but there is no screen to record or trace an individual serial number through receipt, issue and warranty.
IN307000 Physical Inventory Count Not built Not built. Count sheet generation, freeze, entry, variance review and posting. Named in the proposal as the fix for the Oman stock audit finding; not yet delivered here.

5 · Inventory — inquiries and reports

ScreenFunction StatusAssessment
IN401000 Inventory Summary Built Item master carries quantity and value by item, filterable and exportable.
IN402000 Inventory Transaction History Built Stock ledger shows every movement with a running balance.
IN403000 Inventory Allocation Details Partial On-hand and reserved are held on the item; the full on-hand / available / allocated / on-PO / on-SO breakdown is not shown as its own inquiry.
IN404000 Item Cost History Partial Pending, current, last, average, min and max cost are all shown on the item. The dated history of each cost change is not retained.
IN405000 Stock Ageing Not built Not built. Slow and dead stock by value band — the report that finds capital sitting on a shelf.
IN60xxxx Inventory reports Built Stock status, reorder/below-minimum and movement are covered by the item master, reorder alerts and stock ledger, each exportable to CSV, Excel, HTML and PDF.

6 · Beyond the video — built because the business needs it

These are not in an inventory-management walkthrough. They were built because a marine automation integrator cannot run on inventory alone, and because you asked for them.
ScreenFunction StatusAssessment
— Quotations, invoices and purchase orders as line-item documents Built Totals derived from lines, never typed; printable on letterhead with stamp and signature; HTML, CSV, Excel and PDF.
— Supplier statements of account Built One supplier, a selection, or every supplier carrying a balance — each statement separate, in a single download, with a covering summary.
— Create from an uploaded document Built PDF, Excel or CSV read and matched to master data, with per-field and per-line confidence, for purchase orders, invoices, quotations, items and expenses.
— Approvals with role limits Built Queue, approve, reject-with-reason, ceilings by role enforced in the decision function rather than only in the interface.
— VAT return and corporate tax Built FTA box layout by quarter and the 9% computation with the 375,000 relief band, both recomputed live from the documents.
— Financial statements Built Profit or loss, financial position and cash flows in auditor layout, asserting their own balance.
— Compliance and renewals register Built Licences, visas, passports, tenancies, vehicles, utilities, IT and insurance, with status derived from the expiry date.
— Ask Built Plain-English questions answered from the live data, with every row behind the figure shown and exportable.
— Activity log Built Every change and every screen view with user, role, screen, date, time and field-level before/after.
— Vessel jobs Built Jobs against a named hull with IMO number, hull type and class society; budget, committed, actual and invoiced.

7 · What to build next, and in what order

The four gaps below are ordered by what they cost the business, not by what they cost to build.

#GapEffortWhy it ranks here
1Inventory Transfers (IN304000)2–3 days Parts move between the workshop, Mussafah and van stock every week. Without a transfer screen those movements are invisible, so every other stock figure in the system slowly stops being true. This is the one gap that degrades data already in the system.
2Issues and Adjustments (IN302000 / IN303000)2 days A service business consumes its own spares. With no way to issue stock to a job or write off a damaged part, consumption is only recorded when it happens to be sold, and the count never reconciles.
3Physical Inventory Count (IN307000)3 days Count sheet, freeze, entry, variance, post. Named in the proposal as the answer to quantities that do not tie; it closes the loop that items 1 and 2 open.
4Serial number tracing (IN306000)3–4 days Class-surveyed equipment is already flagged as serial-tracked, but a serial cannot yet be followed from receipt to installation to warranty claim — which is precisely the question asked eighteen months after commissioning.

8 · Two things this demonstration is not

Stated plainly, because a build audit that only lists successes is not an audit.

The sign-in is not access control. The credentials sit in client-side JavaScript on a static page. Anyone can read the whole application with developer tools or a single curl command without signing in. It keeps a casual visitor out of a client demonstration; it protects nothing, and no real Tritek data should ever be loaded into it.
Scanned and handwritten documents are not read. A PDF carrying a text layer is parsed — reference, date, currency, totals and line rows, verified end to end. A scan or a photograph has no text to parse, and optical character recognition needs a server rather than a browser. The upload screen says so rather than returning an empty result and letting it look like a failure of the document.

Both are properties of a static demonstration rather than defects in the design. The production build described in the proposal resolves each: a server that refuses to send the page to an unauthenticated request, and a document pipeline with OCR behind it.
