Quranic Ayahs
Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:12–14
"Then We made the drop into a clinging clot (alaqa), then into a chewed lump (mudgha), then bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then produced him as another creation — so blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators!"
🕌 Hadith on Embryo Stages
"Verily the creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's belly for forty days in the form of a nutfah (drop), then he is an alaqa (clot) for a like period, then a mudgha (morsel of flesh) for a like period..." — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Exact Embryonic Stages — Word Perfect
Modern embryology — only possible with powerful microscopes — identifies stages: sperm + egg (nutfah) → implantation/clinging embryo (alaqa: leech-like, clinging) → somite formation resembling a "chewed lump" (mudgha) → cartilage bones → muscle flesh. Prof. Keith Moore, one of the world's foremost embryologists, added Quranic verses to his textbook The Developing Human, calling them "a correct description of the developing embryo." The 7th-century precision is inexplicable by human means alone.
💧 Nutfah = drop (sperm/egg)
🩸 Alaqa = clinging clot
🦷 Mudgha = chewed lump (somites)
🦴 Bones before flesh — verified
