Use Claude the new way.

Most people only use the chat box. The big updates now sit in the Code tab of the Claude desktop app, and none of it needs code. ▶ watch the 32-min video

The one habitGive Claude a goal, not a task. Start in Plan mode.
01

Deep research

One line in, a full report out. Five helper agents research at once while the doc writes itself.

02

Projects

One folder of background per client or job. Every new chat already knows the brief.

03

Artifacts

Docs, decks, designs and dashboards land in one place. Share a link, export to Word, PDF or Google Docs.

04

Scheduled tasks

A morning brief at 8 AM from your calendar and inbox. Nobody types anything.

05

Skills

Teach a job once, call it by name. Or record your screen doing it and Claude builds the skill.

Context, browser, files

See how full the memory is, preview pages in a built-in browser, open files in a side pane.

11

Side chat /btw

Ask a quick side question without derailing the main job.

12

Mods

Change how Claude itself looks. They built a progress-and-cost bar by asking.

13

Slash commands

Seven worth knowing, from /advisor to /goal. Learn /goal first: give a finish line and it keeps going.

14

Six sessions at once

One prompt splits the job and runs six Claude sessions side by side.

Your plan this week

  • Tomorrow: type your next question into the Code tab in Plan mode (free plan: make a doc or deck in chat)
  • Set up one scheduled task
  • Turn one job you repeat into a Skill
  • Hand one big job over with /goal

Want every screen?

Page 2 walks through what the trainer clicks, in order, with a small timestamp link for each screen.

PlanLooks around, writes a plan, changes nothing until you approve. Start here.
ManualAsks before every edit, command or web visit.
Accept editsEdits files in your folder without asking, still asks for the rest.
AutoNo routine questions. A second model checks each action and blocks anything you did not ask for.
