Why the Eastern Province is different

Contractors, ports and paperwork.

Dammam, Al Khobar and Dhahran run on contracting, oil and gas services, petrochemical supply chains and logistics through King Abdulaziz Port. Much of the back office is the same every week: quotes to compare, timesheets to total, delivery notes to match and reports to send to the main contractor.

That repeat work is where a $200 workflow pays off first. It reads the files you already have, follows your rules, and hands a draft to a person to approve.

Khobar also has a busy retail, clinic and restaurant scene. There the first win is usually WhatsApp replies in Arabic and English, or turning receipts and bank lines into one expense report.

Saudi rules every build follows

PDPL, ZATCA and the Saudi week.

PDPL and SDAIA

The Personal Data Protection Law is enforced by SDAIA, the Saudi Data and AI Authority, with full enforcement since September 2024. Each build collects only the personal data the process needs. The written scope lists what each workflow touches. Any tool that would send personal data outside the Kingdom is flagged so you decide.

ZATCA e-invoicing (FATOORA)

ZATCA runs e-invoicing in two phases. Phase 1 (generation) started in December 2021. Phase 2 (integration with the FATOORA platform) rolls out in waves from January 2023. A workflow can check invoices before they go out. It does not replace your FATOORA-integrated invoicing system.

Saudisation and Nitaqat

Nitaqat rates each company by its share of Saudi nationals. A workflow pulls headcount and nationality from your HR sheet and builds the monthly report in your format. Your HR team reviews it and files it in Qiwa. The workflow does not file for you.

Sunday to Thursday

Calls, site visits, go-live dates and support follow the Saudi work week. Your Sunday morning is a working day here too.

Arabic first

Customer-facing workflows read and reply in Arabic and English. WhatsApp replies, quotation drafts and customer emails start in Arabic when the customer writes in Arabic.

Train your team too

Straight answers

Eastern Province questions, answered.

What does AI automation cost in Dammam and Al Khobar?

$200 per workflow, fixed, in US dollars. One workflow is one process, such as a supplier quotation comparison or a ZATCA invoice check. It goes live in 3 to 5 days. A website is $500 and AI training is $100 an hour.

Do you visit Dammam and Al Khobar?

Yes, when the job needs a room, Sunday to Thursday. Most of the build happens remotely from Dubai. There is no Saudi office.

Which workflows suit Eastern Province contractors?

Supplier quotation comparison, weekly manpower reports from timesheets, and daily site reports from notes and photos. Each one is a single $200 workflow.

Can you automate ZATCA invoice checks?

Yes. The workflow checks the required fields and the QR code on each invoice before it goes out and flags the ones that need a person. It sits beside your FATOORA-integrated invoicing system.

Where does my company data go?

Each workflow runs on your own accounts, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or your accounting system. Nothing is stored on my servers. The build follows the Saudi PDPL, enforced by SDAIA.

Can a workflow reply to customers in Arabic?

Yes. WhatsApp and email workflows read and reply in Arabic and English, and pass hard cases to your team.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. Builds are one-off. Only SEO, AEO and GEO is monthly, at $500 a month.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, before any document is shared. Scope is agreed in writing first and the price does not move after that.
