SDAIA — the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority — is headquartered in Riyadh and administers the Kingdom's Personal Data Protection Law. Riyadh companies are consequently the ones being asked hardest, by their own boards and by their clients, what their AI position is.
So a Riyadh class spends real time on governance, not as a disclaimer at the end but as a working session: your team classifies its own document types, marks which ones can and cannot go near a consumer AI tool, and drafts a one-page internal AI policy before they leave the room.
Riyadh is also the Kingdom's tech-event capital — the annual LEAP conference brings the entire regional AI vendor market to the city. Most companies come back from it with a list of tools and no plan for their own staff. This class is the plan.
Developers, contractors, consultants
A large share of Riyadh's white-collar workload sits in and around the Vision 2030 development programme — ROSHN, Diriyah, Qiddiya, New Murabba, King Salman Park — and the developers, contractors, engineering consultancies and PMO firms working to them.
That work has a signature: enormous volumes of structured documents moving between organisations on fixed templates. Progress reports, variation requests, submittal logs, minutes, transmittals, payment applications. Every one of those is a strong first automation, and every one of them is something a project team can be taught to handle in an afternoon.
